SAIL[FITC Student Ambassador] Alexander was great. Alex taught workshops for many weeks and helped to keep the kids on task and motivated. He was reliable each week and a great addition to the team.

120px-Crest2I can’t thank you enough for your dedication and help with TSA. Without you [Student Ambassador, Adam See], Siddu would not have received the first place trophy he got!  Julie Childers, Leon High School

CobbThe Google CS Program and the FITC Ambassadors have been the most inspiring and meaningful addition to our classes. The partnership provided practical application of the techniques that the students were learning. They were able to actually see where these skills were useful and needed in real-world situations. The FITC Ambassadors were so knowledgeable, kind, and patient with our students. Our students could easily relate to them and actually see themselves going to college and studying computer science in the somewhat near future, which is often difficult for middle school students, being able to see the big picture.
I am so thankful that the FITC Ambassadors were able to be a part of this experience at Cobb. They were truly instrumental in exposing our students to computer science and programming concepts. It was amazing to see how creative the students were in completing their projects. They were engaged with the material, and they were excited to work on their projects every day. Even on the days when the FITC Ambassadors did not come to school, the students continued to work on the Google CS program. For me, the best part was seeing the students succeed and take such pride in their work, which could definitely not have been done without the assistance of the FITC Ambassadors. Many of our students are now interested in pursuing a degree in computer science. This includes students that just a few short months ago had no interest in going to college whatsoever. Now, they have developed a passion for computer science, along with the confidence to know that they can do it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Thank you all again for being a part of Cobb’s first Computer Science program. I am happy to report that it proved to be very successful, and we have LOTS of students who want to continue (or begin) learning about computer science! I completely attribute the success of our program to the involvement of FITC.

Girl Scouts

The entire team exudes confidence. Each member seeks to understand how our girls learn and uses that information to ensure they get the most from their experience. It is such a breath of fresh air to see our future leaders take on such tasks while acting as consummate professionals.
