The FITC Alliance strives to impress upon high school and college students the opportunities a career in a technology field can present. The Alliance travels to local high schools across the Florida panhandle conducting lectures and workshops.

RETAIN

IT, Computer Science and Engineering careers are some of the most in-demand careers in Florida today. By creating a reliable pipeline of discerning graduates into the Florida technology workforce, local companies become more successful creating a thriving state economy.

EMPLOY

Our employer partners are a valuable asset to the Alliance. Dependable workplace knowledge begins in the classroom. FITC works with high schools and colleges to uphold a higher IT curriculum standard in North Florida schools.

WHAT IS THE FLORIDA IT CAREER ALLIANCE?

The goal of the Florida IT Career Alliance is to raise awareness of the opportunities available to students in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering. To achieve this goal, FITC engages academic and industry partners that range from high schools, community colleges, state colleges, universities and private and public employers. The Alliance is a grant program with support provided from the Florida Board of Governors to Florida State University and Florida A&M University.
